Mixed Herb Vinaigrette
Mixed Herb Vinaigrette
Typically, we cook and season meals with fresh and dried herbs in small quantities to enhance the flavors of other ingredients. This recipe blends together several fresh herbs in a vinaigrette that brings a lot of flavor, color and freshness to salads, grain bowls or roasted proteins and veggies. While each herb has a unique flavor, they taste delicious all together. Adjust the quantities of herbs to your preferences.
Blend ¼ cup chopped fresh dill, ½ cup chopped fresh parsley, ½ cup chopped fresh basil, 1 cup chopped cilantro, the juice of 1 lemon, ½ cup olive oil, ¼ cup apple cider vinegar, 1 Tb maple syrup and 2 garlic cloves. Adjust herb quantities and season with salt to taste.
